The study is approved by the Ethics Review Board of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Your participation is voluntary and you can withdrawal from the program at any time without giving any reason. However, we assume that in the event of your desiring to discontinue the program, you will notify us so that we can avoid sending reminders to you. Your information will not be used for commercial purposes. No one outside the research team will know that you have participated or can see how you answered. The answers will be compiled statistically in unidentified form and presented so that any individuals' answers cannot be tracked. All participants can get a summary of the study results if they wish. If you have any questions about the survey, or if any questions arise after you have participated, you are welcome to contact us via e-mail. This will protect your information.
Sensitive information about you is protected in our encrypted treatment platform iterapi.se, the platform requires login. For example, you fill out questionnaires and chat with one of the CoronaStress team here. We only send reminders to your e-mail address. You will receive an e-mail that you have a message in our platform, but not what it is about. You log into the platform with a participant code and a password of your choice.
Personal Data Act (PUL)
We collect information about you in our surveys. All your answers have privacy (are protected). No outsider will know that you participated or be able to see what you answered. You are entitled, according to § 26 of the Personal Data Act (1998: 204), to receive, free of charge, once a year, answers to what information we have collected about you. You also have the right under section 28 of the Personal Data Act to request that we correct information about you, which you think is incorrect. The data controller responsible for this study is The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and our research leader Professor Jonathan Huppert.
Risks
We do not know of any risks that are specific to the Internet-based self-help psychological program and the method has been approved by the Swedish National Board for Medical Evaluation (SBU).
